Restrictions & Special Conditions

Porting Away from BlazeSMS

If you are transferring your numbers to a new provider:

  1. Your new provider submits a port request to BlazeSMS
  2. You will see a port-out authorization request in your account
  3. You must authorize the port-out within 2 business days
  4. Once authorized, BlazeSMS approves the transfer with your new provider

Key Definitions

  • OPTA/ACM Beschikking — A number allocation document issued by the Dutch Authority for Consumers & Markets (ACM, formerly OPTA). Required only when porting +31 88 numbers.
  • Smart Mobile (+31 97) — A Dutch number range that functions similarly to local numbers but with mobile-like flexibility. Porting follows local number procedures.

Notes

  • Local number ports require the LOA address to be in the same city as the number — a national address is not sufficient
  • The +31 88 number range has an extra documentation requirement (OPTA/ACM Beschikking) that other national numbers do not
  • Partial porting from a number block carries risk of downtime for numbers remaining with your current carrier
  • No specific porting timelines are published for the Netherlands — contact [email protected] for estimates
