- Once authorized, BlazeSMS approves the transfer with your new provider
Key Definitions
- OPTA/ACM Beschikking — A number allocation document issued by the Dutch Authority for Consumers & Markets (ACM, formerly OPTA). Required only when porting +31 88 numbers.
- Smart Mobile (+31 97) — A Dutch number range that functions similarly to local numbers but with mobile-like flexibility. Porting follows local number procedures.
Notes
- Local number ports require the LOA address to be in the same city as the number — a national address is not sufficient
- The +31 88 number range has an extra documentation requirement (OPTA/ACM Beschikking) that other national numbers do not
- Partial porting from a number block carries risk of downtime for numbers remaining with your current carrier
- No specific porting timelines are published for the Netherlands — contact [email protected] for estimates
